So glad you asked! Most of our camps start off with line call (flag raising and memory verses), breakfast, cabin cleaning and worship before the morning’s fun activities; then, after lunch and free time, we have more activities until supper. After supper, we have a whole-camp recreation time, and then we head up to the campfire bowl for the evening program before bed. For more details, check out the info for our Camp Sessions for your particular camp.
We love seeing campers dress up for church and weekend worship services! Whether you choose to wear your regular camp clothes or something a little nicer, both options are absolutely welcome. The most important thing is that you're comfortable and ready to participate in the worship experience.
You bet! Just know that they may be spread all throughout the camp & it might take a while to bring them down to the phone. Appointments are easier because we can have them in the office prepared to answer the call.
Yes please! We love having baptisms during the summer. It would be nice to know ahead of time so we can plan a program around it, and so you can invite family to attend. But yes, we encourage baptisms at the camp!
Absolutely! Our weekend program is designed to minister to that specific group of campers, but you are more than welcome to join us then or during the week, just as long as it doesn't distract from the program. Please let us know you are coming by filling out this registration form. We’ll have you check in and wear identification so everyone knows you are a safe person who is supposed to be present with us. Overnight stays and meals will have a charge.
Yes! You can add money to your camper's store account through your UltraCamp account at any time during your camper's stay. Click here to see your camp reservations; then click on the reservation that you would like to edit the amount of camp store funds.
Our camper registration form includes detailed questions about dietary and medical needs to ensure we provide the best care. We have a registered nurse on-site to assist with medications and health concerns. If there's anything else you'd like us to know, please don’t hesitate to reach out—we’re always happy to help!
You must register and pay ahead of time. We need all campers to register and have their account balance paid in full ahead of time in order for them to attend camp.
We definitely want our campers to be able to navigate the terrain at Broken Arrow Ranch, as there is a lot of walking that could require physical stamina. We don't currently require a doctor's sign off. But if you already have a copy on hand, it would be nice to have it on file.
Registration is from 3-5pm on Sunday for regular camps. Other camps may have differing registration dates/times, please check the specific time for the camp session you have signed up for.
It takes a lot of work to reset the camp each week. We have to meet and train as a staff, clean, make sure we have all the supplies we need and more before we are ready to receive the next batch of campers. So we strongly discourage early drop offs.
Plan to arrive anytime between 8:30 and 9:30! At 9:30, we have a special parent program that we’d love for you to be part of. To make sure we're able to adequately prepare for our next set of campers, our staff move on to other duties at 10:30 am sharp.

We have Red Cross certified lifeguards on duty at all water activities, and we require a life jacket at the waterfront and for certain swim levels at the camp pool. Being able to swim for these activities is a definite advantage, but not a requirement for fun! We do require those participating in the wake-boarding and waterskiing activities to pass a basic swim test.
I'm so glad you asked! You must bring closed-toed shoes and jeans. We’ll provide the helmets, you’ll just have to wear your hair in a way that lets it fit properly. For more information and explanation please click here.
We do operate regular hours, however not the standard hours you'd expect a business to operate. Most of the work we do is outside and active rather than in an office setting. Our morning worship programming goes until 10am each morning, we break for lunch and rest period, and we're off serving the campers from recreation time through to the end of the evening worship program. But our office manager is in the office answering emails and phone calls from 10:00-12:15 and again from 2:45-5:00. If you call before 10am or after 5pm there is a good chance you will get the answering machine. However, if you leave us a message, we will get back to you as quickly as we can! Outside of summer time, if you can’t reach us at camp at (785) 468-3638), leave a message, and then call the KS-NE conference office at (785) 478-4726.
Broken Arrow Ranch is located on Tuttle Creek Lake near Manhattan, Kansas, about two hours east of Kansas City, two hours south of Lincoln, Nebraska and two and a half hours north of Wichita. Our address is 1950 Sagebrush Rd, Olsburg, KS 66520. Click here for directions.

Among their customs was a symbolic gesture of breaking arrows to signify the end of conflict and the embrace of peace. Hence, the name "Broken Arrow Ranch" was carefully selected to embody this legacy of tranquility and safety. It serves as a haven amidst the chaos of our world—a sanctuary where individuals can immerse themselves in the beauty of God’s creation and draw closer to Him and those around them.
